We have been wearing the Brooks Glycerin 21 on our feet for more or less a month, the model with the most cushioning from the Seattle brand and an experience of softness and comfort.

The first thing you have to know is that you have to differentiate between the Glycerin 21 (which is neutral) and the Glycerin 21 GTS (which includes extra stability and support elements in the midsole). We have tested the neutral model par excellence.

From bottom to top:

Sole - It is composed of a mixture of rubber and recycled silica, which Brooks calls “RoadTack”, which resists quite well and has good grip, also in the wet. The sole is only present in certain contact points to reduce the final weight of the shoe.

Midsole - It is the differential element, composed of Brooks' DNA LOFT v3 foam, which is a nitrogen-infused foam, which makes it more spongy, comfortable and reactive. It is VERY COMFORTABLE and is a little higher (2 millimeters) than the previous version of the Glycerin. It has a drop of 10 millimeters (from 28 to 18 millimeters) the stride is super comfortable with them.

Upper - The upper is made of a very soft knit, slightly open in the areas that need more breathability, and very comfortable in the fit.

Heel and Tongue - Has a heel clip for improved fit and a very comfortable fit feel.

Our team's tester has used them mainly in filming and on some long runs (the maximum of 21 kilometers). In addition to how comfortable it has been for him to run with them, he highlights that he has been able to move them at paces of around 5 minutes per kilometer. Note that the space left in your foot is sufficiently large, even as the distance increases, and that the sensation of cushioning and reaction did not decrease significantly over time.

This tester, who did not know the Glycerin before, was pleasantly surprised by the model, which he thought was going to be much more uncomfortable on the foot.

They cost €180 and have a 7% discount by applying the code DTO7 in the shopping cart.

The BIKILA team's rating of this Glycerin 21 is 5 stars, but you would have to try it yourself to see if we are right.
